Look at the system, then improve it

Systems are far more important than goals. Goals set a narrow target with a deadline for achieving it. Sometimes goals are important, but more often than not, focusing on the systems that contribute to them are more productive.

Systems:

1. Are less stressful
2. Produce more consistent results
3. Avoid feeling like a failure when an goal isn’t reached
4. Rely upon habit instead of willpower
