People
Organise with purpose and create an environment for your people to succeed
There are no software problems. Only people-centric problems through which software might help.
The People Component
At Systemic, we believe at the core of every business challenge is the people. We build software to help people, and we work with people to help build strong teams and processes that support that software. Unless a technology solution positively impacts somebody's work in some way, there's really no point building it.
A new software solution is a big investment. Without the involvement and assent of the people who stand to be directly affected, that investment can be put at risk. Talk to us about building strong technical teams, leadership, collaboration and how these drive your productivity. Systemic offers training and consulting, looking at a systems approach and the dynamics of those systems.
Education
An integral part of ensuring we prepare for future changes and challenges in technology is preparing the workforce of tomorrow. That's why we take an active part of engaging with our local area schools and training institutions.
What do we offer?
Community training
Education and outreach: Our team has been offering robotics and programming classes to primary schools since 2017.
Community events: We have organised whole-of-city chapters of national events since 2015. GovHack NZ is an Australasian community technology competition that has been run in many New Zealand cities for the last three years. Dunedin's event has been included every year thanks to organiser Phil Wheeler's involvement.
